Adelino F. Pastilha is the inventor and creator of StepSkooter, he started working full time in is native country of Portugal at the age of 13. He started as a mechanic while attending night school. At the age of 19, he came to the USA to join his family.
Adelino F Pastilha started and managed several successful businesses. Many of the reasons for his business success have to do with his relentless desire and search for a better machine or tool to accomplish the mission, never giving up.
Intended for kids and adults alike, the StepSkooter is a fun, unique way of riding an exercise stepper. In a step pedal motion, this scooter delivers fun from the streets to the parks. A fold-up design, it is lightweight and convenient to carry. At only 20 lbs, the Wave Stepscooter is easy to pack for your next getaway.
The patented outdoor StepsSkooter is propelled by stepping movements that provide a low-impact outdoor workout. Its footplate pedals move up and down like a standard step machine, toning one’s quads, calves, hamstrings, and glutes while improving overall balance.

Development
From WaveCycle to StepScooter
Work on StepSkooter started in 2011 as an evolution of a previous project called WaveCycle, also a self-propelled Scooter with the difference being propelled by hands instead of feet.
Lots of time and money have been spent. Patents were granted for both WaveCycle and the StepSkooter.
Many different prototypes were built and tested. We are confident that the best solutions have been developed and are incorporated in the final design.
